WW in SAWA

We're BACK! The trip to Sierra Vista was another fun and prosperous one this year. We had a total of 20 gals (WWGA'ers and friends) make the trip south. The Saturday round was ... gosh -- how should we put it?? We'll never forget the experience that was the "new" Mountain View and we vow that that memory will carry us through so we'll never ever play there again. Ok... now I'm finally done with that!
Friday night was our game night at our most loveable hostess' house: Kathryn Riddlehoover. LRC was loud (which we expect nothing less) and poker was profitable (for some of us). Saturday night was much more tame since the first round was an afternoon one and the final round was an early one. But the bartender at Windemere remembered us from last year. Wow... we really must leave an imprint -- huh?
Of the 20 we claimed, 10 of us cashed in:

  • 1st Flight 2nd Net - Sonya Geisel

  • 2nd Flight 1st Gross - Suzan Doran (WW friend)

  • 2nd Flight 1st Net - Lynn Kolstad

  • 2nd Flight 3rd Gross - Stacey Sanford

  • 2nd Flight 3rd Net - Ann White

  • 3rd Flight 1st Net - Debbie Flickinger (WW friend)

  • 3rd Flight 2nd Gross - Van Ellen Patrick

  • 3rd Flight 3rd Net - Sharon Graham

  • 4th Flight 1st Net - Cheryl Kwiatkowski

  • 4th Flight 3rd Gross - Dee Greener
Congrats Us! Next year, we're looking forward to multiple rounds at PDS (fingers crossed). Pictures are now here (thanks LIZ!).

Down the Middle Meg Returns with Hardware

Congratulations to WWGA Prez Meg Quarrie who won low overall net at the Paiute Classic in Las Vegas over Labor Day weekend. While the tournament lacked the organization that it had its first two years, this didn't deter Meg from racking up the win. Also, congratulations to Lynn Kolstad who finished second net. More pics here!
